September Project 2005 hosted an event at NYC hotspot White Rabbit for the Coalition for the Homeless. The event featured complimentary wine beverages from FunWithWine.com, the art of Julia Briggs and a gift bag which included a mosaic kit from Cheryl Hazan Gallery and the music of Or Music artists John Cale, Pitty Sing, and Adam Richman.

The September Project began in 2004 with "Celebrate New York" a charity event at the renowned Knitting Factory in New York City featuring Coppermine. With a raffle that included donations from artist Craig Anthony Miller and Oscar-winning actor Tim Robbins, the first September Project raised money for the NYC Coalition Against Hunger.
